Trama
Autunno 1945. Nella casa di Sandrino, un giovane che ha partecipato alla guerra tra partigiani e fascisti, viene ad abitare una vedova di guerra, Virginia. Tra i due nasce una spontanea amicizia che ben presto si trasforma in amore disperato. Sandrino si sente sempre più soffocare dall’attaccamento ossessivo della donna e arriva fino al punto di derubarla del suo denaro. Più che l’incontro con una ragazza che vorrebbe aiutarlo a ritrovare la strada giusta, sarà il suicidio della vedova che porterà Sandrino alla crisi finale, ed alla comprensione di tutte le sue colpe.
