Trama
Un ricchissimo scapolo, Robert Talbot, viene in Italia ogni anno per trascorrere il mese di settembre in una lussuosissima villa nei dintorni di Firenze, in compagnia di un’affascinante ragazza romana, Lisa Fellini. Ma un anno arriva inaspettatamente in Italia in luglio, e scopre così che la sua ragazza non è più libera, e sta per sposarsi con un altro. Robert allora si reca nella sua villa, ma trova che il maggiordomo, ignaro del suo arrivo, l’ha trasformata in albergo. Tutti i clienti, tranne un gruppo di sei ragazze americane con la loro accompagnatrice, lasciano l’albergo. Lo scapolo si interessa paternamente delle ragazze e pian piano si accorge – con il suo più vivo stupore – di essersi così immedesimato nella parte da diventare uno strenuo difensore della virtù delle ragazze al punto di essere disturbato quando incontrano un gruppo di americani.
