Trama
Ana vive in un piccolo paese del sud-ovest della Spagna, in provincia di Zamora, la terra al confine con il Portogallo. Lì fa la veterinaria e vive da sola con sua figlia. L’unica persona con cui parla e trascorre del tempo è il suo collega di lavoro, ma Ana sembra aver scelto quel luogo dimenticato dagli uomini per restare sola. Si è rifugiata lì in preda al terrore, in fuga da qualcosa che la obbliga a rimanere prigioniera di se stessa. Un giorno, però, il passato bussa alla sua porta chiedendole il conto. Un uomo molto bello arriva in paese e chiede di lei. Ricordi, sensazioni e sentimenti che Ana credeva di aver seppellito per sempre ritornano a farle battere il cuore.
