Trama
Rip Murdock, un reduce di guerra, torna in patria insieme ad un commilitone. Ma quando i due stanno per essere decorati, l’amico misteriosamente scompare. Murdock si mette allora sulle sue tracce; suppone che sia morto assassinato in un falso incidente ed entra in contatto con la sua donna. In realtà il militare morto era stato coinvolto nell’omicidio del marito di lei, verificatosi in circostanze poco chiare.
