Trama
Soho, estate 1958. Anche a Londra è arrivato il rock ‘n roll e il locale più frequentato è l’Atletic Club di Ezra, dove ogni sera l’astro nascente Silver Johnny si esibisce davanti ad una folla di estatici teenager. I ragazzi che lavorano da Ezra si sentono molto trascinati dall’ambiente, e, anche fuori dagli spettacoli e dal lavoro, trascorrono i giorni e le notti tra sesso, alcol e pillole. Del gruppo fa parte anche il figlio di Ezra, Baby, imprevedibile e lunatico. Questi si rende conto che Silver Johnny ha preso il suo posto nel cuore del padre, mentre un altro, Mickey, lo ha sostituito alla guida del Club. Ezra considera Mickey come un figlio e si fida ciecamente di lui. Un giorno arriva Sam Ross, potente impresario di rock ‘n roll, e cerca di scritturare Silver. Le scintille della rivalità scoppiano sempre più forti nel gruppo.
