Trama
Ron Lewis, proprietario di un “night” in una cittadina del Texas, viene coinvolto per caso in una sparatoria, durante la quale viene ucciso un poliziotto. Messo in prigione, Ron intuisce subito che c’è qualcosa di strano in tutta la vicenda: la polizia nega che ci sia stato uno scontro a fuoco nella notte; l’avvocato rifiuta di difenderlo; la grossa somma vinta al gioco è sparita; lui viene condannato a diversi anni di galera.
