Trama
Il giovane protagonista, l’insicuro Mózes, è assillato dal fantasma del padre appena morto, un pastore protestante autoritario e ingombrante. Il tema della morte, dell’elaborazione del lutto, del disagio psichico e del rapporto genitori-figli viene raccontato con profondità e allo stesso tempo con ironia e leggerezza: Mózes porterà a termine le opere lasciate in sospeso dal padre per liberarsi del suo fantasma, riconciliandosi con la figura genitoriale, dopo aver tentato di scacciare la scomoda presenza con tentativi bizzarri e alleati strampalati. Il tutto all’interno di una famiglia ultra-tradizionale, in un piccolo e un po’ bigotto villaggio ungherese.
