Trama
Un artista di varietà, in crisi perché ormai giunto alla fine della propria carriera è stato abbandonato dalla moglie, vuole aiutare una ragazza che vuole cominciare a calcare le scene, ma non vi riesce. Intanto è costretto, per vivere, a vendere dolciumi in un teatro. La fortuna vuole che, nelle cioccolatine da lui vendute, sia ritrovata più di una volta una delle più apprezzate figurine di un concorso pubblicitario (quello della Perugina). La confusione che avviene in sala suggerisce all’impresario di mettere in scena una rivista nella quale il vecchio artista interpreterà la parte del “Feroce Saladino” che è appunto la figurina più preziosa. La rivista ha successo, nonostante incidenti di varia natura, e in essa la giovane cantante può trovare la propria affermazione artistica.
