Trama
Gian Luigi Rossi Distante è un giovane uomo d’affari che amministra miliardi non suoi, di proprietà di clienti che spesso non conosce. Deposita i propri guadagni in Svizzera e incrementa i guadagni. La mattina gioca a tennis, poi tramite telefono, organizza il resto della giornata tra incontri, appuntamenti, pranzi. Ma la polizia indaga su uno strano traffico di soldi che coinvolge banchieri ed onorevoli e qualcuno si organizza per difendersi. Gian Luigi passa con indifferenza da una donna all’altra, pur avendo una fidanzata, ma una sera incontra una ragazza che, dopo un po’, si rivela essere una giornalista molto determinata che sta conducendo un’inchiesta su uno strano giro di miliardi. Gian Luigi non dà troppo peso a quella presenza, fino a quando la donna viene uccisa da un sicario ed anche lui si trova messo alle strette. Allora i traffici illegali vengono alla luce, ed anche l’amicizia che Gian Luigi riteneva di avere con un carabiniere non serve più. La giustizia comincia a fare il proprio, inesorabile corso.
