Trama
Accanto alla lapide di un comune amico, si rivedono casualmente a Roma dopo tanti anni tre stralunati trentenni vecchi compagni d’infanzia: Sergio, Pietro ed Enzo. Il primo, immaturo ed insicuro ragazzo-padre di Lisa, una splendida bimba di sei anni, frutto di una fugace relazione con una tedesca, vive con l’iperansiosa madre Clelia, che fa di tutto per scuoterlo dalla sua apatia e spera che col matrimonio di lui con Emanuela il giovane possa cambiare. Pietro, omosessuale e drogato, insoddisfatto e disperato vive di espedienti e viene abbandonato dal suo amico, che si vergogna di lui. Enzo si ritrova nella capitale dopo dieci anni passati in Brasile dove ha sposato l’italo-brasiliana Giulia che, esasperata dal suoi atteggiamenti infantili ed irresponsabili, è decisa a lasciarlo. Sergio non intende sposare Emanuela e si reca con la figlia allo zoo e lascia alla madre l’ingrato compito di comunicare la notizia alla sposa e a tutti gli invitati alle nozze. I tre giovani decidono di dare una festa in casa di Enzo per tutti i compagni di un tempo: ma l’incontro è un fallimento poiché ormai gli ex amici non hanno più niente da dirsi e ognuno ha preso la sua strada. Inoltre la festa è funestata dall’attacco epilettico del cameriere; da una crisi di follia di Giovanni, il guardiano ubriaco della villa: dalla scenata di Emanuela a Sergio; da solenni ubriacature di diversi ospiti. Fallisce anche il tentativo di Enzo di riunire i vecchi amici per una partita. Non resta che lasciarsi di nuovo e stavolta definitivamente. Pietro ritorna alla sua squallida vita di droga e prostituzione; Sergio alla sua esistenza di individuo irresponsabile e timoroso, incapace di essere un bravo figlio e un buon padre. Enzo infine se ne torna sconsolato in Brasile da solo poiché sua moglie, nonostante le sue preghiere, non vuole più saperne di lui.
