Trama
Deborah Chandler, figlia di un ricco industriale morto per un incidente, sposa, dopo la morte del padre, il direttore della fabbrica paterna, Selden Clark. Durante la luna di miele vengono raggiunti dall’amante di Clark che, indignata per essere stata allontanata, accusa il novello sposo di aver ucciso il suocero. Deborah le crede e tenta di fuggire dal marito, ma durante la fuga in macchina finisce in un lago a causa dei freni manomessi. Fortunatamente si salva, ma tutti la credono morta. Tutti tranne il marito, che mette un annuncio sui giornali per ritrovarla. Il giovane Keith Ramsey la riconosce e, credendola pazza, la riporta nelle grinfie del consorte.
