Trama
Joe, ex pugile, dopo aver scontato tre anni in prigione per aver ucciso per legittima difesa, va a stare dalla sorella Martha, sposata ad un operaio, Ed. Molti degli operai della fabbrica, nella quale lavora Ed, essendo vittime di strozzini, iniziano a ribellarsi nei confronti dei malviventi, capeggiati proprio da Ed. Dopo che Ed viene ucciso in quanto persona scomoda, Joe accetta in segreto, un incarico da parte del direttore della fabbrica, per scoprire il misterioso capo della banda di malviventi…
