Trama
Luigi Mazzocchi, acrobata morto durante una pericolosa esibizione, ha lasciato nel circo Harlem la moglie Anna e il figlioletto Tonino. Questo, sognando di divenire un giorno famoso e abile come papà, intanto soffre la solitudine e anche la gelosia. Anna, infatti, convive con il disumano domatore Raimondo che sgrida di continuo Tonino; vende di nascosto la cagnetta Vodka, unica compagna del piccolo; costringe la madre a metterlo in un collegio. Per fortuna di Tonino, Raimondo si stanca di Anna e passa con la valletta Erika; inoltre, reduce da una clinica, torna nel circo Andrea, il trapezista amico del Mazzocchi e coinvolto nel medesimo incidente. Il bambino, avendo notato l’incipiente amicizia della mamma con il nuovo arrivato, si dimostra ostile.
