Trama
Nel corso della sua lotta rivoluzionaria contro il Presidente messicano Carranza, il gen. Pancho Villa ha sconfitto i soldati regolari asserragliati in un Columbus e si è appropriato dell’oro americano che avevano trasportato. Nascosto il bottino nella cittadina di Chereto, per recuperarlo, ora che è immobilizzato da una ferita, spedisce sul posto il gen. Urbina che a sua volta si trova costretto a farsi guidare da Don Diego Ouez, un colono statunitense che intende vendicarsi di Carranza che a quanto gli è stato riferito sarebbe responsabile della strage della sua famiglia. In realtà la fattoria di Don Diego è stata distrutta dagli uomini di Panchio Villa camuffati da carranzisti. Don Digo conduce Urbina fino a Chereto, nonostante qualche dissapore. Giunto sul posto, l’americano prende contatto con la vedova Stevenson che custodisce il bottino nella propria cantina ma viene a conoscere tutta la verità. Urbina, che da Villa ha ricevuto l’ordine di “pagare col piombo” i compagni d’avvetnura, s’appresta all’eliminazione. Don Diego, reagendo accanto alla vedova Stevenson, riesce ad avere ragione di tutti i rivoluzionari-banditi.
