Trama
Norbit (Eddie Murphy) non ha avuto una vita facile. Da bambino è stato abbandonato sui gradini di un ristorante cinese ed è stato allevato da Mr. Wong (Eddie Murphy). Le cose peggiorano quando è costretto a sposare la meschina Rasputia (Eddie Murphy), una divoratrice di ‘junk food’. Proprio mentre il futuro di Norbit appare appeso a un filo, Kate, il suo primo amore, (Thandie Newton), torna in città.
