Trama
Un ufficiale superiore dell’esercito napoleonico, caduto prigioniero dei russi, viene creduto morto per assideramento dopo un soggiorno in segreta. Un medico polacco, che aveva inventato una formula per conservare all’infinito lo stato di catalessi, si accorge che l’ufficiale non è morto e, ottenutone il corpo, lo sottopone allo speciale trattamento di sua invenzione. Cataclismi e guerre successive impedirono al medico di ultimare il proprio esperimento. Ai giorni nostri il corpo dell’ufficiale creduto una mummia, viene trasportato a Parigi da un giovane scienziato. Quivi l’ufficiale napoleonico può essere richiamato a vita.
