Trama
Nella rappresentazione della Tosca di Puccini si inserisce un episodio della resistenza di Roma poco prima dell’arrivo delle truppe alleate. Le due vicende sono continuamente intrecciate, ma predomina quella di attualità. Il tenore, che aveva nascosto in casa un paracadutista inglese e che canta la Tosca in stato di arresto, sarà salvato al momento della morte di Cavaradossi dalla intelligenza e dalla prontezza di spirito dei macchinisti e della fidanzata, che con lui sostiene la parte di Tosca.
