Trama
Anna Karenina, moglie di un ministro dello zar, s’innamora pazzamente di un aristocratico capitano della guardia. Essa fugge con l’amante, mentre il marito inizia le pratiche per il divorzio. Dopo qualche tempo ritorna e, apparentemente pentita, mentre crede di dover morire, chiede perdono al marito, che generosamente lo concede.
