Trama
Susan, una giornalista americana il cui interesse è rivolto alla sinistra extraparlamentare, e suo marito Jacques, un regista della ‘nouvelle vague’ ripiegato per motivi ‘alimentari’ sui film pubblicitari, si trovano coinvolti nello ‘sciopero selvaggio’ che tiene bloccata una fabbrica di salumi. Sequestrati per cinque interi giorni assieme col direttore in una stanza dell’opificio, essi ascoltano, dalla bocca degli operai, la descrizione delle loro condizioni di lavoro, ricevendone una salutare lezione. Da allora cambierà non solo il loro modo di vivere il matrimonio, ma anche quello di essere.
